Last month, on Friday the 13th, I had the honor of co-hosting the book launch of Thirty West’s own, Sarah Edmonds. Costumes are optional; Tony is born. The newest ‘health inspector’ of the conglomerate, Meat Depot, LLC.
A young member of Colony Zeta420, Tony is laid off from the crumb-breaking factory. His Queen demands that he find a new job or soon be exiled. Tony grabs the first one he could find: Novice at Meat Depot, LLC.
6,100 is a good number.
Halloween is gone, but the spirit lingers in the mortar joints. Tony is just part of the plan. Or is he something more? More than a Formicidae peon in a vile, distant universe? Antkind doesn’t take ostracization kindly.
Tony’s story is a death metal-fueled, deadpan, and desolate world. If you enjoyed the show, Metalocalypse, stay plugged in. I recommend reading, The Factory, as the leaves curl into frozen permanence.
Soon, Antkind shifts back to the 90’s with Jack Grand. A flash forward is near. Recall the weeping willow and the safety it creates. Embrace it, or regret it.
