I could feel every bit of emotion here man... man. Great memoir, Daisy was lucky to own you (I always say cats own us).

Thank you Anthony. I think we coexist quite well with them!

I could really relate to this Josh. You didn’t hold back the raw emotion . Your cat was very lucky to have you because you allowed her to be herself without judgment . I’m sure Daisy was grateful for the days of sunshine she shared with you! A great pet owner respects and honors the personality of the animal. I have very deep emotions when losing my beloved friends. Each one has been a family member to me and each so special. Time doesn’t always make the hurt easier to deal with, I’m just better at putting it away while life keeps me distracted . Take care.

Hey aunt Gina thank you so much. From what I remember, Daisy was surrendered by an older woman who couldn’t take care of her. I did my best being a much younger 2nd parent. Definitely will be in my mind forever.

So sorry to hear it, Josh. She sounds like an amazing pet and was lucky to have you. I have an obsession with Bengals, but have heard the breeders are doing a terrible job with their breed so I don't want to support them. You are so kind to have adopted her from a shelter and provided such excellent care. Angel in action!

Thanks, Caterina. It was a stroke of luck to find her there. 5 years really flies and as much as I wish she was able to pal around with Grey, I made sure the 2nd half of her life was full of love.

Thank you Suzy. Sorry to hear about your buddy, too. The best we can do is advocate for them, no matter what.
